Cross: Dayton Should Step Aside as General Secretary

Ms. Karen Cross says she stumbled upon the information pertaining to claims of sexual assault against Mr. Campbell and sought intervention from the People’s National Party (PNP)– her party.

After approximately two weeks later Cross said that she was met with harsh backlash and little support from the PNP to ferret out the truth. She says in part, the matter was poorly handled because of Party’s weak leadership.

Karen Cross the woman who unveiled a series of damning sexual assault allegations against former North West St Ann MP and PNP General Secretary, Dr. Dayton Campbell is on the attack.

This after Dr. Campbell filed a countersuit against her and two bloggers who leveled allegations of sexual assault against minors, against Campbell earlier this year.

In a one-on-one at Cross’ Kingston abode, she urged the embattled Dr. Campbell to step aside from his post as General Secretary, noting she has enough evidence to support her claims.

She also dismissed claims of leaking any documents to the media pertaining to the matter now before the Supreme Court, and called PNP President, Mark Golding ‘weak’.
