On the heels of one education stakeholder in Barbados on Monday calling for a halt in this year’s sitting of the CSEC examinations, Education Minister Fayval Williams and officials in the education sector held a meeting with stakeholders across the region on Tuesday to discuss the rescheduling of the external exams.
The Minister says the time frame of the results has also been rescheduled for the last week in September to the first week of October. She also notes that SBA submissions have also been extended.
Minister Williams further adds that students who may be doubtful and wish to defer, have up until May 31 to do so.
