‘5th Most Corrupt Country in the Caribbean’: Jamaica

Jamaica is still the 5th most corrupt country in the Caribbean – The latest Corruption Perception Index (CPI) found that Jamaica remains the fifth most corrupt country in the Caribbean behind Haiti, the Dominican Republic, Guyana, and Trinidad and Tobago. The country maintained its score of 44 from 2020 on the CPI. The CPI is measured from 0 to 100, with 0 being the most corrupt and 100 being the least. 

The island also slipped one place from 69 to 70 on the 2021 transparency international corruption ranking.
