Residents of Great River, St. James are left traumatized following Tuesday’s murder of a businesswoman and the wounding of her son who subsequently died while undergoing treatment at the hospital.
The tragic incident comes months after another devastating murder of a woman in the same community. Fifty-two-year-old Rose Christian and her son, Kennique Christian were shot and killed at her establishment in great river, St. James on Tuesday.
Rose reportedly died on the spot while her son succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment at the hospital.
Police reports are that about 2:00 p.m., rose and her son was at the restaurant when a motor car with men drove up; alleged eyewitnesses say the men appeared comfortable as they interacted in the space before pouncing upon their intended targets.
