National Security Minister Dr. Horace Chang promises to turn a new leaf with members of the Jamaica Constabulary Force, promising that they will be treated as professionals, and paid as such.  After recent protests by some members of the Jamaica Constabulary Force to be paid year-long monies owed to them, Security Minister Dr. Horace Chang is now vowing that the police will be treated and paid as professionals.

Speaking in parliament Tuesday, Minister Chang notes he has already begun righting the wrongs committed by previous administrations in relation to police salaries.  Dr. Chang says despite the unprofessional handling of their salaries, the police continue to work diligently to assist in crime-fighting.
