Can the PNP Survive Another Leadership Fight?

PNP Leadership Fight: On Saturday, September 7, 2019, the People’s National Party ended a bitter leadership battle and Peter Phillips retained his position as President after defeating Peter Bunting, his challenger. In the aftermath of what was a brutal challenge, many wondered if the PNP could approach the future as a united party.

Now just over a year since that epic leadership battle, weary comrades are gearing up for another leadership fight. Who are the major players and why? Can the party survive another bruising leadership fight and how different will this one be? Former PNP Caretaker Candidate, Venesha Phillips, and Political Commentator, Rev. Dr. Garnet Roper joins this discussion.
