PNP: Democracy Is Being Trampled On

‘The government has no regard for the three strategic laws, they have no regard for the constitution,’ that is the word from members of the People’s National Party (PNP) following the postponement of the Local Government Election. During a media briefing on Thursday, the Opposition argued the Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) failed the nation miserably by postponing the election. However, the members are confident that the party is ready despite the delay.

Vice President and Mayor Norman Scott said while they cannot contest the postponement legally. As it might never be resolved before the year end the PNP will continue to mobilize its people. Watch the report below:
