Parents Prepare Ahead of School Reopening – January 3

Schools will be heading into the third year of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Reactions were mixed from parents on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, regarding preparation for the new school term set to commence on January 3.

Meantime, some parents are on board to send their children back to face-to-face learning. In early November, the Education Ministry granted permission for some 400 schools to resume face-to-face learning.

Earlier this week CVM Live spoke with one education stakeholder about Omicron concerns impacting face-to-face learning. The principal urged schools to be guided by the health ministry’s protocols.
