No Withdrawal of Johnson Smith’s Candidature

There are no plans to withdraw Johnson Smith’s Candidature; Information Minister Robert Morgan describes Jamaica’s nomination of Senator Kamina Johnson Smith for the post of Commonwealth secretary-general as a sensible decision.  

Morgan explains that it is evident by the overwhelming support Johnson Smith has since received from Caribbean leaders. The minister was speaking on Wednesday morning at the first face-to-face post-cabinet media briefing held in months due to the COVID-19 pandemic. More in this report:
