Montague Urges JLP Supporters to Defend PM Holness

Member of Parliament for St. Mary Western, Robert Montague, did not hold back on Sunday, as he urged Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) supporters to fearlessly defend the Prime Minister against criticisms.

Montague is among the latest in the party executive to title PM Holness as the best Prime Minister Jamaica has ever seen; insisting he does not deserve the harsh treatment he received. With Local Government Elections slated to take place no later than February next year, political representatives are seemingly ramping up their campaign efforts.

Speaking at the JLP conference in St. Catherine North on Sunday, JLP member of parliament and former Minister, Robert Montague reminded the party’s supporters they are to remain relentless in defending their leader, Prime Minister Andrew Holness. Montague said it’s every Labourite’s responsibility to ensure the PM is defended against criticisms.

Montague said he made it his duty to ensure Holness becomes the longest-serving Prime Minister in Jamaica’s history.
