Health Minister Confirms Dengue-Related Deaths

Health Minister Dr. Christopher Tufton delivered distressing news in Parliament this afternoon, revealing that a total of four Jamaican citizens have lost their lives due to dengue. Additionally, there were six deaths under investigation. Dr. Tufton clarified that one death was definitively linked to dengue, three were categorized as suspected dengue-related deaths, and one was unrelated to dengue. He further stated that the investigation into the sixth death is ongoing. Watch the report:
