Cruise Shipping Resumes, Carnival Sunshine Visit to Ocho Rios

Cruise operations will resume in Jamaica on, Monday, August 16, as the Carnival Sunshine is scheduled to call at the port of Ocho Rios. This signals a resumption of cruise tourism, generating employment for thousands of people who have had their livelihoods decimated by the pandemic.

The Ministry of Tourism has given the assurance that the call is being managed in accordance with strict health and safety COVID-19 protocols, guided by global standards and best practices.
