Social Impact of Government Systematic Corruption

An island-wide survey conducted between August 24 and September 18 with 1,000 respondents revealed that 73 percent of Jamaicans believe that Political Figures are involved in corruption.

Additional research has highlighted systemic corruption as having a disproportionate impact on the poor, increasing costs and reducing access to services, including health, education, and justice.

With more than half of the population convinced that they’re forced to withstand systemic corruption, how is Jamaica’s growth and development on the line?

In this panel discussion is Community Outreach Specialist at National Integrity Action, Gavin Myers and Rev. Dr. Devon Dick, Political & Social Commentator.
