Unattended Children; Youth Targeted for Crime

We can see it in the news, the rampant increase of young people’s involvement in crime, violence and even being gang leaders or members in a gang.

However we cannot ignore the elephant in the room, the question has to be asked – what is the root cause for this? In this week’s Youth Forum we try to tackle an aspect of crime among youth as we discuss ‘unattended children; a target for crime’.

To have this discussion we are joined by the Jamaica Union of Tertiary Student Spokesperson Christina Williams, Customer Support Associate Ricardo Wint, and English Teacher Othniel Williams.
