The Reshaping of Public Body Boards

Long seen as a prerogative for only the well-connected, the move towards establishing a transparent competency-based system for the appointment of directors to public bodies has taken a profound step, with members of the political directorate no longer allowed to serve and will instead be replaced from a selection of self or group nominated candidates.

To discuss the innovation, we are joined by Nophia Morgan, Director of the Public Body Board Secretariat in the Public Enterprises Division of the Ministry of Finance and the Public Service, and Camille Facey, Chair of the PSOJ Corporate Governance Committee and Attorney-At-Law.
