The country is bracing, for what may be a battering from the elements this weekend, given projections with the development of a tropical wave, which is expected to strengthen over the next couple of days.

This severe weather condition has the potential to do significant infrastructural damage, so how prepared is the country’s disaster management apparatus and the significance of its contribution?
