Cloudy skies in the Corporate Area Friday afternoon, but business as usual for persons, ahead of the expected tropical wave which is predicted to make landfall Sunday.

Our news team spoke with some members of the public on their state of readiness ahead of the rainy weekend. Some noted that they were prepared. However on the other hand some people had other feelings.

The National Hurricane Center reported Friday morning, that tropical depression #9 is moving west-north-west at about 13 mph, with maximum sustained winds of 35 mph.

If tropical depression #9 continues to strengthen over the next couple of days, it may become a tropical storm and eventually a category one hurricane by early Monday morning.
