Exploring Jamaica’s Domestic Terrorism Reality

The problems that fuel crime in Jamaica, are wide-ranging. The government has ramped up its efforts to stem the spiraling crime problem, which only recently was described as domestic terrorism by a Senior Police Officer, in the aftermath of the mass shooting at a football match in St. Catherine where nine people were shot and three killed. How will the Firearms Act and gun amnesty, impact the crime scourge?

We continue our focus on the country’s crime problem with Chairman Agency for Inner City Renewal, Reverend Dr. Henley Morgan and Chairman Private Sector Organization of Jamaica Standing Committee on National Security and Justice, Lieutenant Commander George Overton.
