COVID-19 Candidate Vaccines in Clinical Development Stage

WHO: COVID-19 Candidate Vaccines in the Clinical Development Stage – While there are more COVID-19 candidate vaccines in the clinical development stage, the World Health Organization (WHO) is advising countries to use available measures and take urgent action to fight the Coronavirus, COVID-19 pandemic.

There are now a total of twenty three COVID-19 candidate vaccines in clinical development around the world.

According to Dr. Michael Ryan,  Executive Director of Health Emergencies Programme at the World Health Organization, this is good news as the world continues to battle the pandemic.
