The Tropical Storm Watch that has been in effect for Jamaica has been discontinued with immediate effect as Tropical Storm Ian is no longer a threat to Jamaica. In a press release from the Meteorological Service, it states that over the past several hours the tropical storm has shifted slightly south, placing Jamaica outside of the projected range of impact.
