Poverty Rate Declines By 40% Since 2018
Jamaica’s poverty rate has declined by 40 percent since 2018, the lowest poverty rate in 10 years.
That’s according to Finance Minister Dr. Nigel Clarke, who addressed members of the House of Parliament on Tuesday, June 23, on the prevalence of poverty.
