Election 2020: Party Leaders Commit to Election Free Of Violence and Intimidation

On the heels of Nomination Day, Prime Minister and leader of the Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) Andrew Holness and People’s National Party (PNP) President Dr. Peter Phillips signed a joint certificate reaffirming the agreement and declaration on political conduct.

In doing this, both party leaders have agreed that all candidates, supporters and party officials will uphold the code. 

The signing took place at Emancipation Park in St.Andrew.
