Person Of Interest Named In Slickianna’s Killing

Police have named Rushane Patterson, popularly known as Chizzie as a person of interest in the gruesome killing of Social Media Influencer, Aneka ‘Slickianna’ Townsend. 

The Hanover man had until five Saturday afternoon to report to the Freeport Police Station in St James. However, Cvm Live understands that up to news time, Patterson had not turned himself in to the police.

Social media unrest, as the St. James police confirm that the woman’s body found at sea in Reading in the parish Friday, is that of 35-year-old Social Media Influencer, Aneka Townsend. 

Townsend, who is popularly known as Slickianna was found by the Marine police with multiple gunshot wounds. 

Police investigations have led to the naming of a person of interest. 

The police suspect Patterson is privy to information that can help their probe into the matter. 

Since the confirmation, scores of fans and loved ones have flooded social media with memories, condolences and concerns for their own safety in Jamaica. 

Cvm Live also understands that concerns are brewing among other influencers, as Slickianna is among several others who have been killed since the start of the year. 

She leaves behind her 15-year-old son.
