Protection services provided by CMU Student and Police Officer unauthorized
An appearance before the Public Accounts Committee earlier this week has revealed more allegations of wrongdoing at the Caribbean Maritime University (CMU).
The committee learned that police officers were providing closed protection services for former Education Minister, Ruel Reid, including a student at the institution. Neither the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF), or the Permanent Secretary approved the use of service.
