In St James, two men are dead in separate incidents hours apart. Both men are security guards and were killed by unknown assailants. Up to news time, no motives were established for the killings.
The Johnshall Community in St. James is now in mourning as 34-year-old security guard Jermaine Myrie otherwise called Nicky was gunned down Wednesday night.
Reports are that at around 10:22 pm Myrie was sitting on his veranda when he was pounced upon by unknown assailants.
He then ran inside his house and braced himself against this door, it’s understood one of the gunmen shot him through his window and entered the house and then shot Myrie several times.

Also, in the parish, another security guard identified as 27-year-old Sadaine Legister was gunned down at 7:15 Thursday morning. CVM Live understands legister was at his gate emptying his garbage when he was also pounced upon by unknown assailants.
