Surge In Violence in West Kingston

Several instances of shooting left several people injured in West Kingston. CVM LIVE understands there is a surge in violence in West Kingston as rival gunmen in Tivoli Gardens and Denham Town trade bullets. Such ordeals have forced the imposition of warring gangs to force students from schools meanwhile, CVM LIVE understands the effects of the ongoing gang violence run deeper than the surface, trickling down to the children.

One student who lives in Denham Town, details his harrowing ordeal, being allegedly dragged from the Tivoli Gardens high school and beaten by men from Tivoli Gardens.  He explains he spent five months away from the classroom, and when he showed up to do exams, he was forced to jump through many hoops to get the same done. His return to school was however met with another attack. Watch the report:
