Students in Downtown Kingston have been benefiting for nearly 60 years from one religious’ group through the form of education, empowerment, and training. This year students were awarded devices to help bolster their learning in school.

The British Caribbean Insurance Company (BCIC) recently gifted students with electronic devices ahead of the reopening of school in the new year.

An education training and empowerment program spearheaded by the St. Andrew Scots’ Kirk Church catering to students who reside in Downtown, Kingston.

The students expressed gratitude as they received their gifts. In the meantime, sponsorship executive at BCIC Jenoy Griffiths says they are committed to maintaining a close relationship with the program.
