Shopkeeper Shot and Injured as Residents Mourn Two-Year-Old

Tensions are high in Mack’s Hill, Trelawny where a two-year-old was on Sunday shot and killed during a domestic dispute. A day later gunmen sprayed a nearby shop critically injuring the operator who’s now hospitalised. 

Although it’s unclear whether the incidents are related residents spoke on condition of anonymity about the two incidents that left many shattered. On the heels of the death of a two-year-old, and the shooting of the shop operator, another businessman says the once peaceful community is awash with fear crippling business.
