Search For Mobay Flood Victim Continues

Sunday, April 24, marks day 5 of a massive search at the Westgate Bridge in St. James, for 68-year-old Beryl Walters. She was washed away in floodwaters last Tuesday. Firefighters, lawyers, and church members were among those who joined the family in clearing debris to locate the elderly woman, believed to be dead. 

Henry McCurdy, a popular attorney, and businessman in the parish was among those present; he also rounded up a team to join the search.  

Deputy Mayor of Montego Bay, Richard Vernon tells CVM LIVE the search will continue until Walters is found. Watch the report for details:
