The launch of senior citizens week has resurfaced concerns about ageism and the need for support for seniors in the digital age. Minister of Labour and Social Security Karl Samuda says if an individual is able-bodied and intellectually competent, there is no reason for them to be robbed of the opportunity to serve. He says instead of forcing retirement onto those persons, the government and private sector should ensure they are not left behind in the technological advancement of society. Watch the report:
