A local psychotherapist is reiterating the need for social intervention to prevent mental health problems; this after the suspected murder-suicide of a mother and her child in St Ann at the weekend. Their remains were found after residents alerted the authorities to smoke coming from the apartment. Pain that is not transformed is transmitted that’s the word coming from Psychotherapist Dr Sydney McGill after the tragedy at Cardiff Hall Runaway Bay, St Ann on Sunday morning at a rented apartment.

Dr McGill notes when a psychiatrist witnesses such challenges the person most times is fully depressed. While noting the importance of social interaction he says family members are crucial in providing love and care to help relatives. Watch the report below:
