The Director of Investigations at the Integrity Commission has referred the Prime Minister among other officers of the state to the Director of Corruption Prosecution for action regarding damning findings of a 2022 report into corruption and conflict of interest allegations from 2006 to 2009.
The report which was tabled in the Parliament notes among other things, that Prime Minister Andrew Holness at the time influenced agencies of the state to engage one of his cronies for several major government contracts under questionable circumstances. Watch the report:
