Select corridors often plagued by traffic congestion and public disorder were the target for police in St Andrew this week. The law enforcers launched a robust campaign aimed at public awareness and support for law and order in sections of red hills road to include the popular price rite taxi stand.
She says they’ve been engaging the motorists and commuters who can help to ensure order is maintained even as they go about their daily business. Three weeks into the new school year the officer notes their work has afforded students the opportunity to get to school on time in many instances. Supt service says they’re committed to ensuring the heightened presence is maintained until order is sustained at the major transport points.
