PNP Contests DPP Retirement Age Increase In Court – The People’s National Party, PNP, strongly asserts that there is a concerning aspect in the Jamaican government’s recent decision to raise the retirement age for the Director of Public Prosecutions. The alteration, implemented on July 31st, is suspected by the PNP to be linked to a corrupt scheme involving parliamentarians and the Integrity Commission. This suspicion has motivated them to initiate legal action in the Supreme Court. However, a government minister has dismissed this action as insignificant. Watch the report:
