Prime Minister Andrew Holness says the Disaster Risk Management Act has reached its limit. Speaking in Parliament Thursday, PM Holness, admits that Jamaica has reached its tolerance limit for restrictions adding that very soon the DRMA measures will come to an end.

He insists that Jamaica must return to normalcy after being disrupted by the Covid-19 pandemic. PM Holness says for the upcoming Parliament, Jamaicans should expect more relaxed measures and a full return to face to face learning.

He adds the consequences will be severe if the gap in education loss is not filled. Meanwhile, Opposition Leader Mark Golding raised concerns on the statement made by the health minister recently, that only vaccinated persons will be able to attend upcoming events.

PM Holness shares his support for the Health Minister’s vaccine advocacy.
