Prime Minister Andrew Holness is announcing a new phase, of the compensation review. This new phase introduces a performance evaluation system as well as an accountability framework.
The Prime Minister says this system is expected to be fully developed in two years. And will boost public sector productivity. Holness says that the new system will not only increase salaries to match the rate of inflation but also to reward the efforts of public sector workers who continue to build Jamaica.
