Scores of Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) supporters in Northeast St Ann today threatened violence if the prime minister fails to intervene and remove their Member of Parliament, Marsha Smith. Their issues are grounded in claims that smith has been absent since winning the seat once held by the late Shahine Robinson. Incensed that despite previous protests not much has improved they again padlocked the Constituency Office. Their previous protest earned them a meeting with the JLP’s General Secretary, Dr Horace Chang, but daggers were drawn for their Party Leader’s silence amid their cries. Watch the full report here:
