No Dead Bodies at Mandeville Hospital

The Mandeville Regional Hospital in Manchester is advising the public that messages circulating on social media about multiple dead bodies at the hospital are false.

The messages state that patients have to be stepping over dead bodies on the floor and that bodies are being relocated to a nearby church. The Hospital was one of the institutions that had its main supply of oxygen-depleted.  A photo of COVID-19 patients lying on mattresses at the hospital has gone viral.

CEO of the Mandeville Regional Hospital Alwyn Miller explains that because of the weather the parish was having, the patients were taken from the tents into an enclosed area of the hospital.
