The unveiling of a strategic plan on Wednesday (April 10) at the Terra Nova All-Suite Hotel in St. Andrew, signals a significant shift in the operations of the judicial system. The plan, bolstered by updated management and evaluation strategies, is poised to revolutionize court services, ensuring efficiency, and fostering stakeholder appreciation.
The previous business plan, launched in 2019, focused on improving the performance of the court by drastically reducing case backlogs. Chief Justice Bryan Sykes announced that ambition was a success, with the court’s net backlog significantly reduced to 16 percent.
