New JPS Mobile App Aligned With Country’s 2030 Vision

JPS Mobile App – The pandemic has led to a greater reliance and use of technology as physical contact is discouraged to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The Jamaica Public Service (JPS) has launched its mobile app to allow customers to conduct more transactions and queries online.

Minister of Science, Energy And Technology Daryl Vaz say the move by JPS  is also powering  the country’s 2030 vision.

The  app allows customers to open and close accounts  viewing and pay their bills query a bill; reporting an outage; reporting a streetlight; reporting an accident ).  

At the end of September JPS says 30,000 customers were already using the app . Acknowledging the need for greater public education…
