Finance Minister and Member of Parliament, Dr. Nigel Clarke while speaking at an award ceremony in his North-West St. Andrew constituency recently, says the coronavirus is the worst pandemic the government’s had to contend.
The government has handled the COVID-19 pandemic effectively, that’s according to Finance Minister Dr. Nigel Clarke. He says over a hundred thousand jobs were created in the last year.
He says though causing a dent in the economy, the country has managed to respond effectively.
Minister Clarke says during the pandemic there’s been an increase in job creation. In the meantime, he’s also reiterating the need for Jamaicans to get vaccinated.
