Turmoil awaits the Andrew Holness-led administration if it does not urgently review the latest salary increase afforded politicians; that is the forewarning from former Jamaica Labour Party, JLP, Senator and co-convenor of Citizens’ Action for Principle and Integrity, CAPI, Dennis Meadows.
The aspiring North Trelawny Candidate for the PNP, says the government lost political favor and moral high ground when it decided to near threaten the civil servants into accepting the wage offer recently only to come shortly after with what he dubs an astronomical increase for the political class.
