Former Government Senator Dennis Meadows is making a bid to represent the People’s National Party (PNP) and residents in Trelawny northern at the next General Election. This follows his previous relationship with the Jamaica Labor Party (JLP), and prior attempts to vie for that post. That’s former senator, turned People’s National Party Member Dennis Meadows. In 2022 meadows switched to join the PNP, after a rift in his relationship with the JLP, one he describes as toxic.
Now, meadows will be running to represent residents of Trelawny northern in the upcoming elections for a fourth time. Meanwhile, Meadows said his primary hope for the constituency is for the people to realize the area’s true potential; Socially and economically, through effective visionary and assertive leadership.
