Maitland to Appear in Court, Lawyer Cautions Public

The police constable charged in relation to the disappearance of social media influencer Donna-Lee Donaldson is to appear in the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court on Friday. His lawyer is however cautioning the public against issuing threats to him and his staff adding he took an oath to perform his professional duties, highlighting his client maintains his innocence.

It would be his first appearance since he has been charged in relation to the disappearance of his girlfriend, Donna-Lee Donaldson. Although he has been charged with murder his lawyer is hopeful and will be applying for bail. Watch the full report:


Update: Noel Maitland’s Attorney is to seek his release on bail, on August 22. The Attorney wanted an earlier bail application but the request was denied by the judge.

The Court was told that the case file is incomplete.
