Some St Thomas residents are demanding urgent and better road construction, after recent damages, due to the heavy rains.

Residents in the Mount Vernon and Jones Pen communities of St. Thomas are demanding urgent and better road construction, after recent damage by landslides. They say landslides cut off sections of the main road.

They feel trapped in their communities as they battle with acquiring basic needs due to the destruction.  They also recall mentioning these concerns at the parish council meeting, however, they say they feel ignored by their representatives. More details in the report below:
