In northern Clarendon, a few schools have resumed face to face learning, among them are the Kellits Primary School.

The principal of the school, Rhynee McKay-Bennett tells CVM Live that prior to the reopening parents and students were summoned to an orientation to discuss the protocols and what role they will need to play.

She says so far things have been going smoothly.

The continuing spike in COVID-19 cases has been raising the alarm about the risk of having students return to the classroom.

Principal McKay-Bennett says the school will act according to the risk level.

She says they have been able to reach most of the other students through the virtual classroom.
