Island Continues to Be Impacted by Tropical Storm Elsa

Residents believe with only a few more showers from Tropical Storm Elsa, the silt is bound to build up, creating an ordeal similar to the one that occurred late last year causing many residents’ homes to be buried under the rubble. Meanwhile, shortly after the residents voiced their concerns, Member of Parliament for East Rural St. Andrew (MP for the constituency) Juliet Holness was spotted at the Friendship Brook Primary school, a location which is now a shelter, housing twenty-one (21) people from Cane River who sought refuge should in case Elsa gained strength.
