Member of Parliament for East Portland, Ann Marie Vaz, is magnifying the shortfall in monetary assistance to education in her constituency, which she says is in need of immediate attention. She says there are several schools within the constituency in dire need of attention.
The Minister says despite a total of 12.5 million dollars being spent on education it is still insufficient for her constituency. She is calling on the Education Ministry to assist with the refurbishing of schools in eastern Portland. She notes affording children an educational opportunity is paramount. Watch the report:
