The National Works Agency (NWA), on Sunday, completed repairs on the Howard Cooke Boulevard Bridge in St James following repairs. The work was completed just in time for the new school term.
A sigh of relief for the people of Montego Bay, St James, as the National Works Agency completed repairs on a section of the Howard Cooke Boulevard Bridge, Sunday. Since work began on August 21, many feared the project would’ve resulted in heavy traffic, as Jamaicans prepare for the start of the new school year. However, the repair was completed sooner than expected. Community relations officer at the National Works Agency, Janel Ricketts, says the agency is happy to have completed the work before classes resumed on Monday.
