A fatal shooting in Duncans, Trelawny, has left two men from the area dead and two others hospitalised on the weekend. The Trelawny police on Monday reported that there has been an ongoing investigation into the incident.
Four men have been shot and injured, two fatally in Red Dirt, Duncans, and Trelawny on Saturday. CVM LIVE understands that the four men were at a mechanic shop when a white Voxy Drove onto the location and four armed men exited the vehicle. After a brief interaction, they reportedly opened fire, hitting all four men at the premises before fleeing the scene. The victims were later rushed to the hospital where two of them were pronounced dead.
Deputy Superintendent in charge of operations, for the Trelawny Division, Winston Milton, says the police are actively pursuing investigations. He is appealing to the public to assist the police with information, to rid the area of gangsters.
Meanwhile, DSP Milton says the area has been relatively calm despite a history of violence.
